Found in India, Nepal, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.

Habitat: Tropical rainforests throughout S E Asia.

Threats: Eaten as a delicacy , Traditional Chinese medicine, habitat loss, and exotic pet trade.

EAZA population: we are one of 10 parks in Europe to hold this species and this tortoise you are looking at is only 1 of 40 held in captivity in Europe.

 

Diet: This tortoise is an Omnivore They search for food in the morning and late afternoon, avoiding the hottest part of the day.
